Commissioning artwork starts with an intial brief which will include medium, size, dimensions and cost inlcuding framing. I ask for half the cost at the start of the commission with the final half paid on completion and delivery of artwork. I will produce an intial drawing or sketch and will consult every step of the way. Often the colour scheme of the room it will be displayed in will play an important part of the decision making. Sometimes commissioned work is given as a gift or else becomes a centre piece for a room.
