The Hill

The Hill mixed media on paper 31″ x 20″ £850 unframed

This painting shows a hill that my family used to visit every summer at least once a year. On this occasion when the grease was tinder dry an adder went straight for my brother as he got ready to fly his mall balsa wood plane. I killed it with a spade I had with me. My sister, father and I all look like we are in our own little worlds. This was one of a series of paintings I did of childhood memories in Sussex.
