Fishing in the Nullah

Fishing in the Nullah oil on canvas 16″ x 17.5″ £375

This painting is based on an old photograph of Assam, India showing villagers fishing in a drain or nullah alongside tea bushes on a tea plantation where I grew up. The dog is the family dog and it shows late afternoon as the sun clips the tops of the shade trees and the tea bushes.

This painting is on view at The Curious Room framers in High Wycombe and will be on show there in October.
