Art biography

I am a self taught artist and photographer who has been painting and drawing from an early age and taking photographs for over three decades. This year the theme I am working on is ‘Plants and Plastic’ to highlight the Big Draw theme of ‘A Climate of Change’. I am a member of Oxford Art Society and my vision is of a community of artists in Oxfordshire working co-operatively to support each other regardless of discipline or media. I am also a photographer and have been photographer in residence for Cowley Road Carnival and Oxford Festival of the Arts.

I am also contributing to ‘A Letter in Mind-Everyday Things’ for the National Brain Appeal 7th annual fundraising exhibition in London in November. This exhibition in November is a charity art event at the Oxo Tower Wharf in London 4-8 November 11am-6pm free entry. Artists such as Grayson Perry, actors, illustrators, comedians and presenters such as Jo Brand, designers such as Zandra Rhodes and musicians and many more. All artwork priced at £85 and postcard sized. See: https://www.nationalbrainappeal.org/event/a-letter-in-mind-2020-everyday-things/
