Art biography

I am a self taught artist and photographer who has been painting and drawing from an early age and taking photographs for over three decades. This year the theme I am working on is ‘Plants and Plastic’ to highlight the Big Draw theme of ‘A Climate of Change’. I take part in charity art sales, The Big Draw and run watercolour pencil workshops at South Oxford Community Centre monthly. I am a member of Oxford Art Society and my vision is of a community of artists in Oxfordshire working co-operatively to support each other regardless of discipline or media. I am also a photographer and have been photographer in residence for Cowley Road Carnival and Oxford Festival of the Arts.

I am taking part in a charity art sale. See: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/art-for-life-3

I am also contributing this pencil drawing for ‘A Letter in Mind-Everyday Things’ for the National Brain Appeal 7th annual fundraising exhibition in London in November
